Today was a good day!!!

So yesterday was one of those days that when it's over you think to yourself, "Today was a good day." It was a really good day. We got to spend the majority of the day with Brook's All-Star team in Brigham City for a tournament. They did awesome on their 1st and 2nd games. Unfortunately, they lost their 3rd game so we don't go to the championship. But it was so much fun!!!! The best part of the day though was watching this awesome guy down here come home after a month of being in a rehabiliation center for breaking his hip. He gave us a good scare. It made me realize how precious life is. I'm so glad that he's doing so well and that I get to keep seeing him in awesome t-shirts and poses like below. I love my dad!!!!!

He really is my hero and someday I am going to be just like him!!!!

Nate's Kindergarten Graduation

He made it. He finally graduated from kindergarten.(Ha ha) Before I know it he'll be graduating from highschool. I better enjoy the next 12 years with him. Nate loved kindergarten. He loved his friends and his teacher. He learned a ton and is all ready for the 1st grade.

Nate and Ms. Lambson. She's the best!!!!

He was all business after getting his diploma

I'm pretty sure he was the most handsome graduate

We love you Natey. Good luck in 1st grade. You're in the big leagues now

Natalie's wedding

Rob's adorable cousin Natalie was just married this past Friday. For once I actually remembered to bring my camera. Natalie was gorgeous in her dress. They were such a cute couple and it was such a beautiful wedding. But did I take pictures of the beautiful bride and groom? Well, I got one of the side of them. This is what I took pictures of instead:

Someday I'm going to buy a chair like this for my living room. And I'm going to take a picture of everyone that visits me in that chair. And I'm going to make them pose just like Kara did. Just because it looks SICK(that means awesome for all you old folks)!!!!!

First Field Trip with Nate and Cody

So I started to panic about a week ago. I only have 1 more month left with both Nate AND Cody at home during the day. Soon my Kindergarten baby will become a 1st grader and will enter the world of a full day at school:(
At the beginning of the year I kept thinking about all of the fun things I could do with just the two of them. But I'm me and I always have great intentions but rarely do I follow through. I decided last week to do something fun at least once a week with both of them until school is finished for the year.

Our first fieldtrip was to the AirForce museum. They were so excited as we were driving into the parking lot. The road to the museum was lined with the coolest planes/jets/helicopters you've seen. Their excitement only lasted until they realized that they didn't get to ride in the planes and fly them. Our entire trip lasted about 20 minutes. But I still managed to get a couple of pictures. Of course Cody finds the rocks more exciting than the planes

Nate wouldn't sit in the ejection chair. He was afraid that the older gentlemen(who were veteran volunteers) would get mad at him. But Cody wasn' worried a bit:)

Maybe I shouldn't beat myself up about not following through with my big plans of field trips and museum visits throughout this last year. Turns out Cody and Nate would rather just play in our own backyard.

HAPPY EASTER

Happy Easter

Don't they look adorable. If only I could've gotten them all to look at the camera at the same time. But that's my kiddos. I love them.
We had a great Easter. We've been talking a lot in our family why we celebrate Easter. I'm so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father and a loving brother Jesus Christ who sacraficed so much for me:) I'm so grateful that I have the opportunity to spend eternity with the cuties above. Families truly are an amazing blessing!!!!!! I am truly blessed with so many wonderful people in my life.

Happy Birthday Cody

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COCO -NUT!!!!! My baby turned 4. (2 months ago) I had to stick with my usual tradition of not posting anything on time. I can't believe that it's already been 4 years since this adorable little boy became part of our family. He makes me laugh everyday. He loves to run, jump, growl, play, snuggle, watch scooby doo, play Super Smash Bros and loves his family. And...... he still sleeps with mommy and daddy. However, he does NOT like going for runs. He's the cutest little monster I know. I'm so glad you're a part of my life little buddy.

Happy Birthday Brook - 1 month ago!!!!

Happy Birthday Brook ( 1 month ago:) My baby girl is 10!!!!!! You read that right. She is 10 stinking years old. I can't believe it. We celebrated by going to Classic Skating. She really wanted to test out her new rollerblades. She didn't really like the rollerblades. She traded me for my skates half way through the night. They are really cool rollerblades though. They look awesome sitting in her closet. Maybe with time she will love them on her feet too. Love you Brooky Pie. You are the sweetest girl I know. By the way, I didn't make the cake. If you really know me, then you already knew that. Thanks to Alisa B. You are so talented!!!!!

Happy Birthday Nate - 3 months ago!!!!

Happy Birthday Nate (oops, he turned six 3 months ago). I should really win mother of the year award. We celebrated at Chucky Cheese. I have to admit, it really is the place where a kid (or an adult) can be a kid. Love you Natey Bug. My favorite story about Nate this week: Nate kept calling Trevor Butt Tron the other night. I kept telling him to stop talking like that. Where does a kid come up with these things? Seriously, Butt Tron? After the 3rd or 4th time he said it I yelled at him to stop calling Trevor Butt Tron. He burst out laughing. I guess he was saying Voltron(they've been into the cartoons lately.) Looks like I need to get my hearing checked:) Glad I said it out loud though. Now Nate really likes the name Butt Tron!!!!

He even does it in his sleep.

Rob ran into our bedroom the other night to see if I knew where the camera was. Glad I did. Classic picture. I'm saving this one for some of Trevor's future girlfriends.
Warning:Do NOT tell Trevor that you've seen this picture For some reason, it's just not as cute when Rob does it.

Maybe flu shots aren't that bad.

We haven't gotten flu shots since we went into Rob's work a few years ago. They used to give out free flu shots to employees and their families. That is until Trevor threw a huge fit that had their office talking for a while. After that year they implemented a new rule that only adults were allowed to come in and get the flu shots.(Thank you Trevor) But we thought we had the flu beat. We haven't been sick the years that we haven't gotten the shot. But we should've known better. Brook came home sick last Monday. We took her into the doctor on Tuesday and found out that she had the first influenza B case that their office had seen so far this year. Being the sweet, kind girl that she is, she made sure she shared it with everyone in our family. It's been a fun-filled week of laying around watching movies and playing video games. Although I've really enjoyed a week of laying around, we will definitely be getting flu shots next year!!!!!!
And they look better than they did a few days ago!!!

Now that's what you call a rat's nest. Imagine all of the things that she could have hidden in there!!!!!

Book Award by Trevor Miles

Every month Trevor has to write a review on his favorite book that he read that month. It was due on Monday. So on Sunday, I told Trevor that he needed to hurry and figure what book he was going to give the "Book Award" to. This is what he brought to me 20 minutes later.

I know that it's hard to see, but let me feel in the blanks:

Book Award given by: Trevor Miles

This book is about: Jesus, Mosiah and other prophets. One of the stories talk about how we got the Book of Mormon.

Title: Book of Mormon

Author: Jesus

I got the book from: church

People would probably enjoy this book.

This book made me feel: Happy

Rob and I couldn't stop smiling and laughing after he showed it to us. We made him do another one since he's supposed to have read the entire book. Love that Trevor of mine. He makes me laugh.
