I'm grateful for snow days that make you stay with those that you love. For silly games that make you laugh so hard your sides ache. For kids that are so wild and crazy that you are excited when they're asleep and you can kiss them goodnight.
I'm grateful for snow plows and salt. I'm grateful to be blessed with a mom and dad, and a mom and dad-in law that takes care of me and my family.
And I'm soooo grateful for my minivan without four wheel drive or chains that made it possible for me to enjoy all of those things yesterday.
I love my family and my minivan with the missing door handle.

What follows a baptism? Why a party of course!!!!
We had everyone over to our house after the baptism. It was a party!!!!! I had a goal to get a picture of everyone that came with Trevor. We had a few sneak out!!! So I'll post whatever picture I want of them instead. Aunt Merrilyn would've come, but the flight was a little long from Afghanistan. We missed her tons. But nonetheless, we still had fun. We always do. And I promise that I was there along with Rob,Brook, Nate and Cody. I think I just got a little too focused on getting pictures of everyone else, I forgot to get some of our family.
Aunt Sheri, Uncle Steve, Austin and Kiersten were all there too. I thought that this was a good picture to represent all of them.
Honorary attendee Aunt Merrilyn. We know you would've been there if you could've. We're proud to have someone in our family serving our country.
Sweet Kylie was there, but had to get back to picking flowers and berries.
Abbie, Zac, Justin, Aunt Merriann and Adam
Aunt Annie and Ryan
Uncle Lee and Jeremy
Aubrey(she always wears a life jacket) Mikey, Aunt Elaine, Sarah, and Camilla
Aunt Lori and Uncle Tom. I can't believe she wore her wedding dress to Trevor's baptism. Ha ha
Aunt Sheri, Uncle Steve, Austin and Kiersten were all there too. I thought that this was a good picture to represent all of them.I can't wait until I'm eight, for then I'll be baptized you see!!!!
Trevor was so excited for his baptism and finally it was here. He was such a goof all day. I could tell he was so excited. I'm so proud of this little guy. What an honor it is to have him as part of our family.
Holiday Waterskiing with the Miles
Waterskiing at Jordanelle is always fun with the Miles Family. This may have not been Rob's favorite waterskiing trip though.
So the day started off well. The kids all had fun. Even the adults had fun.
I love a parade
Now that fall is upon us, I've decided I should post all of my summer pictures. Every year I have to talk Rob into going to the Bountiful parade for the 24th of July. I have to remind him how much fun it is and how the kids love it. And every year by the end as I'm walking away with my clothes suctioned to me from the sweat I think, "Why do I always beg him to come. Is this really fun?" But enjoying time with family is time that is always well spent. No matter how sweaty or hot you get!!!!

It's Great to Be Eight
I've been known to butt heads with Trevor just a bit. I think it's because of how much potential I see in this little kiddo. So I think I'm extra hard on him. I had to show off his pictures that we just got this morning. I don't know how you can look into those adorable eyes and not smile. Grandma Miles has said a few times that this kid is just full of life. I can't agree more. He is funny, sweet, loving, adorable and a punk. I love him. I can't believe that he's already eight and will be getting baptized in another week. I know that I couldn't be more proud of him. For his birthday, his Grandma and Grandpa Nelson gave him some money. Money just burns holes in his pockets. He doesn't last a day with money. He talked me into going to Cracker Barrel to look at webkins so he could spend his birthday money. I had to smile when he told me that he wanted to get a webkin for his little brother Nate with the money since he didn't have one yet. I should've let him just do it, but I talked him out of it since it was his birthday money. Trevor has the biggest heart of anyone I know. His brothers and sister are so lucky to have him as a brother. I'm excited to see what kind of young man this cute guy is going to grow up to be. I know that I'll be forever grateful for having him as a son. I love you my little eight year old.
