I've been known to butt heads with Trevor just a bit. I think it's because of how much potential I see in this little kiddo. So I think I'm extra hard on him. I had to show off his pictures that we just got this morning. I don't know how you can look into those adorable eyes and not smile. Grandma Miles has said a few times that this kid is just full of life. I can't agree more. He is funny, sweet, loving, adorable and a punk. I love him. I can't believe that he's already eight and will be getting baptized in another week. I know that I couldn't be more proud of him. For his birthday, his Grandma and Grandpa Nelson gave him some money. Money just burns holes in his pockets. He doesn't last a day with money. He talked me into going to Cracker Barrel to look at webkins so he could spend his birthday money. I had to smile when he told me that he wanted to get a webkin for his little brother Nate with the money since he didn't have one yet. I should've let him just do it, but I talked him out of it since it was his birthday money. Trevor has the biggest heart of anyone I know. His brothers and sister are so lucky to have him as a brother. I'm excited to see what kind of young man this cute guy is going to grow up to be. I know that I'll be forever grateful for having him as a son. I love you my little eight year old.

Yes we're still alive!!

So I'll admit it. Blogging is not my talent. And I know, it's been a while. So here goes the fast version of what's happened in the last 6 months.I finally got to go visit my sister in North Carolina this past April. It was so much fun to go sight seeing and to laugh like crazy. There was never a dull moment. I didn't even realize how much I missed my family until I was on my way home. I love having sisters. I hope that someday Brook will be as lucky as I am and end up with having the best sister in laws in the world.

Brook and I got to hang out with just the girls. I have no idea where she gets her crazy looks from.

I was amazed when Rob actually wanted to hold his new niece Avery. But how could he resist. She's such a cutie.

Rob and Cody have become quite the buddies. Cody loves to follow his daddy around and tries to help him with everything!!!! I know Rob loves to come home from work and hear Cody come out the door yelling, "DADDY!" He's such a good guy:)

This girls cracks me up. Her personality gets bigger everyday. She's beautiful, sweet, and one of my best friends. I hope that she never realizes how cute she really is.

Brook loved soccer this year. It's been nice to have a break, but I think she's getting ready to get back in there and kick some butt. Can't wait!!!

Trevor had such a great year in school. He had team teachers and they were awesome!!!! He had fun everyday. I just wish he could take them to 3rd grade with him.

Natey graduated from preschool. He'll be starting kindergarten in another month. I can't believe how quickly the time goes by. He has become an expert on torturing his siblings. I know, hard to believe with that sweet little face.

Nate's favorite color is green!!!!!! He's been really excited to be able to wear his favorite color every time we go swimming.

Cody is still as crazy as ever!!! He wears himself out and everyone else out by the end of the day. (We were lucky this day. He wore himself out by three.)


Cody loves playing with his cars. We laugh everytime we see him lining them up. He's now entered into the horrible threes. Today my neighbor caught Cody attempting to fill up our lawn mower with gas. He had watched me do it earlier. Good thing that I really, really, really love this kid. He might even make it to four!!!!
